In a recent poll, we asked EcoHome readers their opinions on the industry's biggest challenges. The greatest number of respondents, 40%, pointed to the economy, while 34% believe it's uninformed buyers.
Maybe I'm too close to the effort but eco-friendly construction is my 'norm' yet it seems to be getting a slow start...which makes no sense since it's so very easy. I agree that in the short term it's the economy but more importantly, esp. for my business, it's an uniformed buyer and green washing by the big builders. Mike McAuley, MBCG
